Occupational safety and health is the branches of public health that is concerned with the effects of occupational exposure factors on the health and well-being of people in workplace. The Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 requires industries to employ a competent safety and health officer to resolve matters related to workplace safety and health. Graduates from 文凭 in Occupational Safety & Health are qualified to work as Occupational Safety and Health Officer (OSHO) at Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) or local authorities, Safety and Hygiene Officer, or as an Occupational Health Control/ Research Officer.
